The fine print

* An order credit is valid for a document with max 4 pages / max 20 MB. All prices + VAT/Taxes if applicable. You must be a business to use our services.

* Additional 4 Pages / 20MB + 1 credit. Unused monthly volume will not transfer to the next month. Rendered files and customer resources are kept for max. 1 month. Traffic is limited to 50 MB / Order Credit and charged with EUR 0,20/GB thereafter.

** Additional Template Storage EUR 10 per 5 GB and month (only for template & template resources)

*** Additional Seat EUR 20,- per month + you need to be at least in the small plan.

‍We will invoice you monthly or whenever a threshold amount of min. 20 EUR or your monthly fee is reached.

We may deactivate the account for production until balance is paid (orders can still come through for in minimum 30 days).

Printess is a cloud-based, Online Web-to-Print Design Tool that allows you to personalize any kind of print product through your E-commerce store.

What can I sell with Printess?

Does the trial version come with the backend designer & can I integrate it with my webstore to fully test it?

Yes. During the 30 day free trial, you can fully test Printess along with the backend, skin the editor to your requirements, install language translations & install it on your live or staging website to generate print-ready output.

What do I need once I’ve purchased my Printess subscription?

You will need a working E-commerce website where you can install Printess as an iFrame/Plugin.

How much time will I require to get started once I buy the subscription?

This will totally depend on various factors such as the number of products that you want to launch, the state of your E-commerce store and the skills of your team. Ideally, you can have Printess live on your website within 30-60 days.

Can I install the Design Tool on my existing E-commerce store?

Yes, our Online Design Tool is based on HTML5 & Javascript & it can be integrated with any E-commerce store as an iFrame/plugin. We provide detailed documentation which explains the integration process for your Technical team.

Can Printess handle personalization of any product with any form, size or shape?

Yes, you can design any kind of template whether it requires custom text typography, photo personalization, step-based editing, avatar-based personalization and many more.

Can I create product mockups for upselling?

Yes. Printess has easy-to-use APIs that allow you to create high-quality mockup designs tailored for your business needs & boost your sales

Do you also offer a website, payment gateway integration, shopping cart with Printess?

No, our focus is on offering the best personalization solution that will easily integrate into any shop-system, website or native app. Printess can be installed into your E-commerce store.

Does Printess offer a mobile app?

No, we don’t offer a mobile app. However, we have ready APIs that will help you integrate Printess with your Android or iOS mobile app.

Can I allow customers to edit templates, graphic elements such as stickers, text typography etc with Printess?

Yes, each & every graphic element that is built in Printess can be customized.

Does Printess support colour management & ICC colour profiles?

Yes, we have ISO conforming colour management & support. Printess is a truly WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor where it generates output that supports die-cut lines, CMYK & spot colours. Colour profiling is maintained in the output or a default CMYK profile is attached during export.

What file types are supported in Printess?

Printess supports importing of PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF and SVG file types.

What are the output formats generated by Printess?

Output formats in Printess are PDF, JPG, PNG and TIFF.

Where are all the templates, customer data, orders etc stored?

All your templates & layouts are stored on the Amazon AWS cloud server. Your customer data, orders & payment information remains under your control.

How many templates/layouts do I get when I buy the subscription?

With the large plan & above, you get 5000+ layouts/templates. With the medium plan, you get the basic templates to start selling. The application has the power to allow you to design any kind of product templates to suit your needs.

Can I also personalize non-photo products (stationary products, books, menu cards etc)?

Yes, you can personalize non-photo products with various text typography options or using our powerful AI tools.

Can Printess handle high volume orders during my peak season?

Yes, we have highly-scalable cloud-based server infrastructure that can take care of order traffic in any region & in any scenario. You can easily handle large volumes seamlessly.

What do you mean by storage in the plans?

Storage plans refer to the space taken by templates & its elements. We only store the templates whereas the customer information & order data rests with you.

What do you mean by seats?

Seats refer to the number of people who would be using the Printess editor. If you have two designers & one developer using Printess at the same time through individual logins, you will require three seats. This doesn’t refer to the end user & you can have an unlimited number of users using the design tool on your website.

Can I localize Printess in my language?

Yes. You can localise Printess in any language of your choice except for languages that require RTL support (right-to-left like Hebrew, Arabic, Urdu)

Does Printess offer AI capabilities?

Yes, we have advanced AI capabilities such as GenAI, text to image generation, AI writer, face-swap etc.

Is Printess suitable if I have variable data printing requirements?

Yes, for requirements such as school photography, ID cards, business cards or anything that requires variable data - both image & text, the Database & Tables module of Printess is suitable.

Can I set up my own photorealistic or 3D previews with Printess?

Yes, you can even customize your previews the way you like with Printess to showcase photo-realistic previews. If you have your own 3D models, you can configure it with Printess.

Can I sell via Amazon with Printess?

Yes, you can automate custom orders with Amazon with the help of our APIs.

Which E-commerce platforms does Printess support?

Printess supports all kinds of E-commerce platforms. For the popular platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento, we have ready APIs.

Does Printess support workflow automation?

Yes, with the help of the Workflow Automation module, you can integrate Printess orders with your existing workflows. We currently have ready integration with HP Siteflow & KornitX workflows.

Does Printess offer support for finishing processes such as foiling, embossing, laser engraving, DTF, DTG, DyeSub, Scodix etc?

Yes, Printess supports all types of finishing output options as well as being able to accurately display each finishing on previews.

Yes, Printess offers an easy way to migrate your designs that are created in Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign.

Does Printess offer print fulfilment services?

We don’t offer any print fulfilment services. However, depending on your region & product range, we can introduce you to our customers or partners.

If I have my own fulfilment provider, can I send files created in Printess over to them & how?

Yes, you can send your files via FTP, Google Drive or whatever connected system you use or use automation to send the files to your supplier directly.

What professional services does Printess offer?

We can offer integration of the Design Tool with your webstore, help you design templates, software coding, provide training to you & your team, consulting, customization & any bespoke assistance to help you get started.

If I have my own IT Development team & Design team who can manage the Design Tool, do I still need to pay Printess for any modifications to my system?

No, the beauty of Printess is that if you have a skilled team, you only pay the monthly subscription & your team can handle all modifications with the help of our knowledge base & tutorials.

Do I need to share my customer data or business information with Printess?

No, we don’t touch your customer data or business information as we don’t charge any revenue share. Your business information remains completely confidential & under your control.

What is your payment policy?

We have 2 types of fees:

1: Subscription fee: This needs to be paid monthly or annually depending on the option that you choose. You don’t need to pay hefty setup fees, support fees or transaction fees nor do you need to invest in high-end servers.

2: Ramp-up fees (if applicable): This is an optional service only if you prefer to do any kind of customization with us. We will dedicate a specialist who will help you get started with Printess efficiently.

Do I need to pay for bug fixes?

No, you don’t need to pay for any bug fixes. Once you report it to our support team, we will ensure that we fix it.

What is your support process?

You can direct your technical questions to our support team via email & we ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner. Our SLA’s vary according to the subscription plan chosen but it is never more than 24 business hours.
